Lights, Camera, Active! Youth Video Contest

We are looking for youth who would like to participate in the Lights, Camera, Active! Youth Video Contest!  This contest is for Hertford County youth who are in the 6th through 12th grades (in teams of 2-4 people).  The purpose of the contest is to help students understand the impact of built environments on the public's health by videotaping their local built environments as they exist in their own communities.  The videos are CNN style reports that are only 60 second in length.  The creators of the top videos each receive a $50.00 gift card to an online sporting goods store.  The videotaping equipment needed to participate is provided for teams to borrow.  Please contact the extension office for more information about this contest!
