Purpose: Provide youth and adults an opportunity to learn more about 4-H Livestock projects from start to finish. A mixture of intense classroom and hands-on activities will equip individuals with information needed to have a quality 4-H Livestock project.

Instructors: Instructors who are experts in their field have been asked to conduct this training. This event will be specifically designed for cattle, hogs, sheep, and meat goats. Participants will only be allowed to attend one of the four schools. This an annual event so participants may attend other species schools in the future. *Instructors may adjust the agenda as deemed necessary to provide the best educational opportunity.

Beef - Bob May, Wisconsin ; Swine - Lynsee Shaffer, Indiana
Sheep - Mark Johnson, Illinois; Meat Goats - John Lastly, Oklahoma
Sponsors: Purina Feeds / Honor Show Chow, Private Sponsors

Personal Animals: Exhibitors are encouraged to bring one of their own animals. If you have the ability to bring multiple animals and would consider the possibility, please let us know. Some participants do not have animals for spring shows. This would be a great opportunity for youth to work together by sharing animals to help someone that does not show until the fall. Youth do not have to bring an animal to participate. Bring your own bedding along with all supplies that you would utilize at a livestock show.
The NC Cooperative Extension Service, NCSU, or our sponsors will not be responsible for any livestock at this event. Medical Release Forms: A representative from each county should have a copy of a notarized medical release form on each participant in case of an event requiring medical attention.

Meals: Lunch and dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday will be provided at the facility.
Sunday Morning Devotional: A short service will be held from 8:30 to 9:00 for those who wish to attend.
