The Hertford County 4-H Program would like to invite 4-H members to assist with the 4-H booth/display at an upcoming community event. The C.S. Brown Cultural Arts Center Board of Directors is hosting A Children's Day of Reflection & Peace on Saturday, September 11, 2010. This community event will be held from 10am - 2:00 pm. Youth ages 5-18 years old are invited to attend free of charge. The day's events include: performances by area churches and school groups, an interactive theatre workshop for children, arts and crafts, cooking demonstrations and much more. Light refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded. I am looking for youth who would be willing to come to this event to help do a craft activity with the children in attendance.
